Sedona has many choices for lodging. We would recommend that you choose lodging in West Sedona to avoid any traffic on your way to the Seven Canyons club.   Here are some options for you to consider:

1. Seven Canyons has a few condos available that are three bedrooms, three bathrooms.  If you’re coming as a group, you might want to consider reserving an entire unit and staying right on property so you can enjoy all of the luxuries of the club.  If you are coming on your own but would still like to stay at 7Cs, we’d be happy to arrange for you to have a room with some others attending on their own.  Either way, please call Seven Canyon's Resort at 928-203-2005 and ask for Dave or Kirsten.  Depending on the available unit you choose, the rate will be somewhere around $750 a night for a total condo.  
2. Most of the hotel chains have properties in Sedona.  Hyatt and Marriott’s properties are closest to the club.  Avoid the Hilton which is quite a distance from the club.
3. Cottonwood is a small town about 20 minutes from the club and has some reasonably priced boutique hotels as well as some chains.  It would be a fairly easy drive to the club.

Absolutely! There will be time spent on the practice range fine tuning your game with Dave Bisbee, one of the best instructors you’ll ever work with. If you’re already a golfer, you’ll be able to play at least two rounds on Seven Canyons private 18 hole course which weaves its way through Sedona’s famous red rocks. If you’re new to the game, your time on the course will walk you from Tee to Green with expert coaching on how both the etiquette of the game as well as how to actually play a hole. 

First of all, you will be in a safe place where even if you’ve never had a golf club in your hands before you can expect that you will learn how to hit a golf ball straight down the middle of the fairway. By the end of the retreat, you should know how to manage your way around a golf course even with clients or colleagues. 

Even professional golfers need to work on their game.  What are your goals? Hit straighter, get more distance, sink more puts or learn the best way to hit out of a bunker. Whatever you have as a personal goal can be achieved with the expert coaching you’ll receive. Additionally, you’ll learn a method for analyzing your game to see what you need to work on to improve your score. And most of all, you’ll develop a personal strategy for managing the self-talk that impacts how you play.

The starting point for success in anything you do comes from an accurate and authentic understanding of who you are. And that’s where we will begin. Each person will receive a detailed report that gives them the language for building a solid foundation of self-awareness. With this in place, we then can help you achieve success in both your work world as well as on a golf course. The reason for linking leadership with golf is because:

• Golf simulates what happens in the work place. Dealing with changing conditions. Adjusting your approach based on performance. Managing the stress that comes from being under pressure. Celebrating successes. 
• Golf provides an environment to build business relationships. It gives you one-on-one time with important people. By the end of a round, you have a friend.
• The golf course is a great place to see how people operate. What you view on the course will be the same behavior you’ll see at work.
• People of all skill levels can participate, even if it’s just driving the cart. 

It becomes a five hour meeting that’s fun.

Should life get in the way, we certainly understand and will refund your registration fee in total provided we 

• Are given 45 days notice or. . .
• Find another woman to take your place who will cover the fee

We are not looking to benefit from your misfortune but do need to allow enough time so someone else can get it on their calendar and fill the spot you opened up. If it is less than 45 days before the start of the program, and a substitute for you can’t be found, then it’s definite, you’re irreplaceable. Unfortunately, we will then have to forego any refund, but we will miss you and send pictures.

Sedona is at an altitude of almost 5,000 feet and November temperatures are very pleasant. The Club requires golf attire while on the course which includes shorts, skirts, collared tops and no denim. A golf glove is recommended for play and one for each hand for the practice tee. These can be purchased at the golf shop on site if needed.

Evening wear is resort casual and you likely will need a light jacket or sweater. Bring along some comfortable walking shoes in case you want to head up to Rachael’s Knoll, an easy hike to the site of a vortex inside the gate at 7Cs.

To get your iMap Leadership report you will fill out a questionnaire that asks you to give your opinions about a variety of topics. The iMap algorithms are then able to use your answers to create a four dimensional picture of you. It looks at two layers of motivation: passions and expectations, as well as two tiers of behavior:  your strengths and how you react when you’re under stress. This report gives you insights on your leadership style and it will be used to help you determine what you need to do to achieve what you want. There is no right or wrong profile. Instead, with iMap, we’re able to help you become the best you that you can be. 

Connie Charles has been facilitating workshops, seminars and coaching sessions for more than 30 years. She has been instrumental in helping many people get to the C-Suites of their organizations. More importantly, through her work, people have been able to discover how to set a trajectory for their careers that keeps them aligned with a sense of purpose. With this purpose clearly defined, they are then able to make choices for how they can best function as a leader. 

Dave Bisbee and Connie connected more than 20 years ago and worked together to link golf and business. Together they hosted Executive Golf Schools where Dave would fix people’s swings and Connie would address the three inches between the ears. Participants would then be offered a view of their leadership styles and how iMap could help their businesses. This successful strategy opened the doors to many Fortune 500 companies and gave them the opportunity to use golf as a viable business tool.
